Vardaman’s Sweet Potato Festival
November 5: Located in downtown Vardaman from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes different vendors with arts, crafts and sweet potato foods and treats.
Saltillo City-Wide Garage Sale
November 4 and 5: A number of homes throughout Saltillo will have items for sale starting at 6 a.m. A list of participating addresses can be picked up at Saltillo’s City Hall.
Corinth Living History Infantry Demonstrations
November 5 and 6: The Civil War camps at the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Demonstrations will include the loading and firing of muskets, and will include an African camel belonging to the 43rd Mississippi named Old Douglas. On Saturday evening, 12,000 luminaries will be lit to represent both the Confederate and Union casualties suffered during the siege and battle of Corinth in 1862.
New Albany Holiday Market and Silent Auction
November 10: The New Albany Presbyterian Church will host the 5th annual Holiday market from 4- 10 p.m. Admission to shop at the booths is free, and BBQ plates will be sold for $10 a plate.
Tupelo Arts Showcase
November 11: You shouldn’t miss this free event filled with music, art and dance at the Link Centre! The art exhibit opens at 6:30 p.m., and the performance begins at 7 p.m.

Bassidi Kone: Free African Drumming Class
November 5: “The Bwa Griot” Bassidi Kone has come to Tupelo from Mali, West Africa to play the djembe. A limited number of drums will be available for “shared” learning, and people are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
Ruby Mae’s Fall Festival in Dennis
November 5: A family-friendly event at Ruby Mae’s boutique with vendor booths, sweet treats, games for the kids and a chance to take a photo with a fall-themed backdrop.
