Five Dipping Sauces for Chicken Tenders

PESTO DIPPING SAUCE

2 cups basil leaves

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 garlic cloves

1/2 cup olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Combine the basil, Parmesan and garlic in a food processor. Pulse until everything is combined. Add olive oil and blend well until the sauce comes together, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

CANE’S DIPPING SAUCE

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup ketchup

1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix well.

HONEY MUSTARD DIPPING SAUCE

1/3 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice or white vinegar

In a bowl, combine mustard, honey, mayonnaise and lemon juice and mix well.

CHIPOTLE BBQ DIPPING SAUCE

1/2 cup ketchup

1/4 cup chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

In a bowl, combine ketchup, chipotles in adobo sauce and yellow mustard. Mix well.

RANCH DIPPING SAUCE

3/4 cup mayonnaise

3/4 cup sour cream

3/4 teaspoon fresh chopped dill (can use less)

1/2 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley

1/2 teaspoon fresh chopped chives

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar (can use less)

Whisk together the mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth. Add the herbs and spices and whisk until combined. Add the lemon and whisk again.
