DIY: Clipboard Calendar

View Gallery 3 Photos

Happy Holidays! We have a free DIY gift for you this season: clipboard calendars. Fill them with your favorite photos – or use ours – for a bright + fun decorative office piece. Here’s how to do it:

Materials:

  1. Weighted card stock
  2. Printer
  3. Clipboard, letter size or 5×7 inches
  4. Paper cutter (such as a Cricut)*

Directions:

  1.  For a mini calendar, choose our 5×7 inch template. For a larger calendar, choose our 8×10 inch template. Find them here: (2020 5×7 Calendar, 2020 8×10 Calendar).
  2. Using Adobe Acrobat, fill calendar with your photos. Dates reflect the 2020 year, but you can adjust this if needed (if you don’t have Adobe Acrobat, print the photos we’ve provided and enjoy in 2020).
  3.  Print them on weighted card stock. Be sure your ink cartridge is full for best quality.
  4. If you print the 5×7 inch template, use a paper cutter to neatly trim the edges to size.*
  5. Arrange photos by month, if they are not already. Neaten the stack of paper and clip it to your calendar. Your gift is ready!

Extra Tips:

  1. You can stain or spray paint your calendar to add an extra special touch. We recommend using masking tap to protect your clip from paint.
  2. The calendar will hang perfectly with a nail or Command strip, but you can also use a small easel to set it on a desk.
