This recipe elevates a delicacy: bagels served with lox and cream cheese. Here, the recipe is made bite-sized with an extra crunch from bagel chips.
Ingredients
- 12 ounces smoked salmon
- 12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh dill
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh chives
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- 2 bags of plain bagel chips
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, herbs, onions and seasoning until well combined.
- Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto a bagel chip, and top with a small slice of salmon. Repeat with remaining ingredients, then sprinkle with capers.
