Recipe: This banana bread is the perfect on-the-go breakfast

Whip up a loaf or two of this homemade banana nut bread over the weekend and eat it all week as a quick grab-and-go breakfast.

Simple Banana Nut Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

3 bananas, brown and mashed

1/3 cup butter, melted

½ cup sugar

1  ½ cups flour

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ cup chopped pecans

Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg and mix all ingredients. Pour mixture in a greased loaf pan (or pan of choice). Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve.
