Grab your punch glasses and have a good time with this slow-cooker mulled wine!
Ingredients
- 2 bottles cabernet sauvignon
- 1/2 cup brandy or bourbon
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 5 whole cloves
- 3 star anise pods (or 1/2 teaspoon anise extract)
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 orange zest, peeled
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine all the ingredients.
- Whisk until the maple syrup is dissolved, then turn on high for 5 hours. Serve warm.
